I just can’t seem to stop with the roses! These are so fun to make! Cut out the circles, burn the edges, and layer!

    silk organza works well with this technique & can be dyed to whatever colour you need :)

      Thank you! I’ll certainly be trying that too! At this point, nothing is safe from the flame. ;)

    I really like those, wich material did you use?? did you really burn the edges? they are beautiful love the color

      Thank you! I love these too! The burgundy is a wool gauze and the cream is a silk/lycra blend. You pass the edges over a flame from a candle, just enough to make it shrink from the flame or, as I did go ahead and burn the edges. Gives it a whole new texture!

      I’m experimenting with different fabrics. Rayon doesn’t work well at all…catches fire! LOL
