Description

I bought these cute yellow emblems at one of our local stores (unfortunately it’s now closed, the owner died – I miss her and her items so much). All I needed was to press them on to the fabric. I decided to make this yellow blouse and used them on it, unfortunately I miscalculated the amount of allowance I wanted in the bust so it fit a little tight. Think I wore it once and then, once again, I had some weight gain so I couldn’t wear it at all…geez

The insertion in the middle of the blouse was a little tricky but I figured it out.

I just might give it away but I hope I can find some more of those emblems. I have tons of stretched material just waiting on me to start cutting…

Love the look of this. It actually looks like you embroidered the fabric. Very pretty.

I wish I had a machine that could do embroidery, I’ll have to save up some money for that one but it would give me lots more freedom to add what I want to my garments in any color or design.

I’ve been thinking the same thing for a long time. I put an embroidery machine on my Christmas wish list every year but Santa never comes through. Guess I’ve been a bad girl. : )
