Description

I entered a BREAD ART show and created my interpretation of bread art by using a flour sack to create a dress. Sleeveless empire waist dress. I cut the bodice out of a vintage flour sack, covered it with sheer pink organza, added a woven linen skirt.

Material Notes

Two sided woven linen in blue and red, vintage flour sack purchased on eBay, Five Roses Flour. Organza overlay to soften the image of the print on bag.

Very clever! Innovative way to “recycle” flour sacks.
