I’ve purchased far too many patterns in my years of sewing. Maybe you have too. Although I now make many of my patterns I wish I had the money I spent on patterns in the past. I’m on a mission to find alternative ways to create patterns. This sheath project is the start. I wanted the dress to have some blue and green colors in it to wear under the colorful sheer shirt I made but I didn’t want the dress to compete with the shirt. The color placement was inspired by a dress I saw on an old episode of I Love Lucy. Leopard and snakeskin are the new neutrals.
