A nice new coat! I really wanted a 1960’s style camel coat, and this pattern was entirely perfect.

The coat looks beautiful! I just assembled my pattern and I am really confused as to which lines correspond the what size – also which pieces I am meant to be using (there seems to be one for a hood). Any advice? Thanks!

I was wondering what this jacket was going to look like in a camel colour, you did a great job! I might have to make one myself :)

I really like it. Vintage inspired, definately but also bang on trend with the new interest for this colour and classic tailoring. I love the sleeves. What are they? Saddle sleeves? Cut on sleeves with a shoulder/top arm yoke?

Thanks, that’s exactly what I was going for! The sleeves are set in like saddle sleeves in front, but are integrated into the back pattern piece. If you click on the ‘three quarter sleeve coat’ project link there’s a flat on the right side that may better depict this. I really like the way they look, and they were completely painless as far as sleeves go.
