I didn’t own a Little Black Dress so it was time to make one. And what better pattern than Sewaholic’s Cambie.
The dress came together so easily. I chose to use bias binding on the neckline and sleeves instead of lining it. It took a long time to handsew it all on but I think it behaves much better this way because I could shape it as I sewed it instead of putting it through the machine and pretending it was flat.
I love it so much I’m making another version for Christmas Day.
