Description

I used the fatina pattern but changed it: It is a bit more loose, I made it wider starting from the waist and I put elastic in the waist.
The dress has one layer of lace and two layers of lining.
Around the armholes and the neckline I used satin bias binding which matches the lining to make the dress look a bit more fresh.
All in all I kept it simple and din’t add any ruffles,.. because I think the lace has enough details and stands out best with the simple cut of the dress.

(It is probably easier to see the details of the dress in the pictures of my vest, but I thought taking the same photos two times was boring.)

I’d love to actually use the telephone, but something is not compatible with the modern system. Maybe I can find an adapter or something.

i have to agree with Natalia. Here in Canada (i live in BC) geese will chase you, swans will chase you, and I myself have even been chased by a duck! Ducks are like our pigeons :) btw the dress and photo shopping look great!

      Thank you!
I have only seen people being chased by a swan. I think they are especially aggressive when they are nesting. It’s probably the same with geese but you seem to have a lot more of them and they might be more used to humans.
I need to go that “lake” next to my school to study the behaviour of the geese there, haha.

Thanks! Yes, it was. I might have been able to get that close to them but I wanted to leave them alone, it’s anature reserve. So I took a picture from further away and added it to the photo.

Thats funny. Here in Ontario, Canada the Canadian geese are a dime a dozen. You can get right up close to them and they even attack you sometimes if you’re eating something they want.

Next to my former school there is a small lake (really small compared to what you have in Canada, you probably wouln’t even call it a lake) with a lot of geese. Those are more like the ones you are describing, when going for a run we had to be careful not to run into them. But they are probably an exception, I don’t think we have many places with as many geese as at that lake. The one in the photo might be a silence-loving goose or they wanted to nist there. If I meet a goose from Canada, I’ll watch my food!
