Based on the Very Easy Vogue V8602 pattern. I used a navy crepe back satin (although to be honest, when I bought it I was convinced it was black). There are 6 pleats on the front and 2 at the back. The back closure contains hook and eyes and an invisible zipper -well its semi-invisible (invisible at the bottom and starts to peak out at the top). I still need to practice that skill. I also added in-seam pockets, which were not part of the pattern, but I followed the BurdaStyle tutorial. I hemmed the bottom using a simple straight stitch and sewed the waistband by hand using a blind-hem stitch. This was my first wearable project and I think it turned out pretty well.
