This my second version of Megan Nielsen’s Darling Ranges pattern, an adorable easy-to-wear shirt-dress. This time, I used a brown cotton floral calico with coordinating tan buttons. The color is a bit more subdued than I usually choose, but this fabric has been sitting in my stash for much too long. It ended up being a cute, neutral dress that’s fun to layer and perfect for running errands. And, just like last time, the pattern was a joy to sew up!

I love your version too. I think the buttons are an especially unexpected and fun touch. Looks like we have similar taste in patters :)

Thank you so much, Meg! Wearability is my number one rule in sewing. I hate expending effort on pieces I may not wear that often. I’d never do it, otherwise! :D
