Hmm, supposedly a simple caftan, but not really, the armholes and the scalloped hemline made this a bit more challenging, plus the neck hole was too small for my head so I had to cut a slash at the back and add a button and loop. Love the fabric (machine embroidered cotton voile) and wearing it feels like nothing, perfect for a hot day. I’m considering adding some gathers or a tie to make it a bit less square, any suggestions will be much appreciated :)

Jenny your caftan looks great and I love the fabric too. I am a bit of a floral fan and I think your scarf looks great around your waist. If you make a tie of the same fabric it may be cooler than your scarf.

Thanks Marjorie, I have just enough fabric left to do that, the scarf was just for the pic, my daughter said it looked “cool”!

Thankyou, Perth summers are very hot, so the lighter to wear the better.
