Added May 18, 2008

Phoenicia, New Y...

this jacket was really hard, much harder than the previous one i hade made. major problems with getting the collar in without wrinkles (it took me three tries) and then some problems with the self facing and some wrinkling…i think i hid most of it pretty well, though. i love the jacket!

Material Notes

Oilily fabric from Ebay, lining and buttons from Mood

my lovely Bernina machine and teacher Bunny

Beautiful! I made this jacket myself and also had trouble with the collar. I didnt get it right in the end, but it was my first try on a jacket. And boy, what a hard first lesson… :) I really love the Oilily fabric, very vibrant!

I am so jealous. I often have to try things several times but they do not look as good as yours. The fabric is a winner. The sleeves are awesome.
