This is from the 07/2008 Burda magazine. I really like the pattern but it is too wide for me and falls off my shoulders a bit. Next time I will bring it in and try a higher neck line maybe. I am happy with the result though because it is my first try with knit-stretch fabric.
Stretchy knit remnant.
Burda, and my sister for taking the photos!

This top is totally cute — I really like the yoke fabric and the contrast. Hey, when are you going to review your sewing machines for my website? (No pressure — this post just reminded me!)

I LOVE it. the fabrics are great- is the fabric of the yoke part a stretch-knit too? You did a fantastic job on this and you look great- go Husky! ;o) I’ll have to give this one a go myself when that BWOF issue comes out over here.

I know exactly what you mean about too wide. I just made a tank from McCalls 5388 that’s pretty much exactly the same as this and took it in at least 2 inches on either side.

I like your top – there is a lot of interest without being fussy. Stretch knit fabric scares me a little!
