I made the Colette Beignet skirt, using an invisible zipper in back instead of the buttons down front. I paired it with the Sewaholic Alma blouse pattern, which I made sleeveless due to limited fabric. A fine work-appropriate outfit (with cardigan, of course).

Skirt shell in wool, skirt lining in polyester. One 9" invisible zipper. Blouse is all cotton with 12" invisible zipper in side seam.

Love the outfit. I never liked the buttons on the skirt (I don’t care much for buttons in general) It looks a lot more professional and less cutsey that way (not belittling your corduroy skirt, it’s just not for me). I think I will buy that pattern now. I am sure Colette will thank you :D
