San Pedro De Mon...
Well, this is a linen button up shirt with……….lots of work!!! I made this shirt a few years ago while my eldest son was in hospital…..I needed to take my mind off my worries and this shirt allow me to do that for several evenings….because all of it was done at night. I worked the fabric by pieces….there are small pintucks, there is faggoting there, there is ribbon work also, and also pulled thread embroidery…plus…fancy finishings on the hem and the 3/4 sleeve hem. I also lined the shirt with swiss organdi, and put a double facing to hide the mother of pearl buttons.
100% linen, and swiss organdy as lining.
