I made this dress for my parent’s anniversary tea dance, with the white lace detachable collar to match. It is basically a copy of a sweet dress by TwentySevenNames, one which I fell in love with and had to make for the party.
There is a button placket down the front, with little white flower buttons, a curved waist at the front, and gathered skirt. It was the first time for me to sew with viscose fabric, but was surprisingly easy to do considering it is one of those ‘slippery’ materials. Actually, I love the feel of it and would be happy to work with viscose again.
