thanks for your comments, everybody, this is my first posting of a project on this site (so exciting!) and I have had so much inspiration from everybody’s work. I used Burda young fashion pattern no. 7739, as I was inspired by another creation on this site to make view A, but I ended up making view C with this lovely wool, which is a bit thick for the pattern so I made large pleats instead of small ones. Also I added lining.
SewClairey, I got this wool from a great fabric store in Brighton, Fabricland, but the other place I go to get fabric is another brilliant place called Roll and Rems, in Lewisham (and the market stalls in Lewisham on a Saturday also sometime have some good stuff). I am about to go and check out Berwick st in central London since there are a few places there apparently. I also stock up on fabric when I go to America (husband is American) from JoAnn Fabrics (fab place too!).

That’s so cute! I love it. Did you use a pattern? And whereabouts in London do you buy fabric…I’m always at a loss!
