I tossed this in my “to alter” pile and ignored it for um 2 years. This summer I decided to make it work.
I cut the under part of the dress into a bodice adn skirt. I darted the bodice to make it fit, and made the bottom sort of a pencil skirt. This really improved how it looks. The back/side is a little too large, but honestly when you’re wearing bright pink and green no one really notices that.
cotton polka dot fabric, poly cotton lime green fabric, purchased black bias tape.
