    Honey, I think you did a great job making a ‘fitted’ top. Sadly, however, this pattern doesn’t work with something that fitted over the bust. It should hang from your bust, then the knot draws it in. If you look at the official pattern image (the sideview), you’ll see that it does not come back in below your bust apex (ahem.. nipples). When it fits as smoothly as your’s does, it has nothing left to draw together. Perhaps if you did an FBA and/or made it in a slightly larger size? I may be way off, but that’s what my gut says.

    Thanks for sharing – it’s good to know what other ppl struggle with so we can avoid any similar issues. You’ve been most generous.

      Yeah I had a feeling it would be too small, and when it was finished the tie bits kept coming undone haha..
      I don’t really know how to do a full bust adjustment yet :|
      But maybe if I made it a bit bigger it would work and sit lower?
