I made this dress with the most lovely fabric. It’s a cotton based jersey and the black aztec pattern is embossed velvet. It really does feel lovely to touch. I modified this pattern quite a bit. I lengthened it by about 6 inches and changed the two back bars from twists (did’nt look nice) to flat. I also exaggerated the sleeves, i will go back and stiffen the edges of them but i ran out of time before my holiday. I omitted the zip as well as i could pull it on and off. It’s quite a wiggle dress which i love. This is my sister’s favourite, she saw it on my dressform and could’nt believe i made it!! I was so thrilled to hear this. I’m looking to do view A sometime, at the moment i have to many fab new burda dresses i want to try as well as my bought patterns x
