Description

I made this dress using a vintage pattern – Butterick 3212. It’s made from a heavy wool jersey fabric, and I omitted the back zip as it was pretty stretchy. I had to take it in a lot for it to fit better, I’m wondering if I should have gone down a size…
I’m very pleased with it though, and really look forward to wearing it this winter.

Thanks!

Material Notes

Jean Muir 100% wool jersey, thread, woven interfacing.

Lovely, it looks like a great versatile dress for winter. Would look nice with a colourful belt as well.

Wow – absolutely gorgeous and I’m green with envy! I must track down that pattern. A definite winner – you must be very chuffed with it :)

Thanks! I’m really pleased with it.

I love the mustard version on the pattern envelope, but perhaps a purple one would be nice…

I love this dress. I believe I have this pattern somewhere in my collection, but I never got to it. Looks great in that wool and unicolour. Well done.
