Burda Style For people who sew
Description
I will hold my hands up – this dress has nothing to do with butterfly’s but the purple lining and purple piping on the waist band inspired me to make use of my purple, butterfly themed home decor on my stair way – a perfect opportunity for pictures don’t you think!
This dress is lined with a purple cotton sourced from bedding, the colour of which peaks through the black stretch lace on top – I love the effect.
I used New Look 6002 sewing pattern for the bodice and added a gathered rectangle skirt for some flirty flounce! Check out the Made with Hugs and Kisses Blog for a mini review of the pattern, more photos and your chance to enter a Pattern Pyramid giveaway!
