The bodice is the first thing I’ve made from my sloper, so essentially the first time I’ve done darts.
The skirt is a two thirds hexagon skirt. Hemming a circle was really not working, so I went with making each of the six sections a triangle, and I actually quite like the shape.
College student sewing: the zipper is stolen from a pillowcase I got at goodwill.
I design and draft my own patterns, so let me know if you’re interested in the pattern. This one’s pretty straightforward though: my sloper+waistband+2/3 circle skirt.
Slightly vintage (from the 70s) butterfly print polyester. There’s two fabrics, one with mostly blue butterflies and one with mostly red.
