I love this classic style and I can’t get enough of these kind of dresses.. The pattern is from 1991 Burda Special 02. I had this white pique’ jersey and thought it would be perfect for a summerdress. To make it more special I did appliqued lots of butterflies – and I had this colorful zipper :) I’ve sewn the zipper first and just cut it open afterwords, so it’s easy to manage. For the lining I used cotton voile on bias and then it is a bit stretchy. I think this will be my favorite dress :)
I did sew this pattern once before; www.burdastyle.com/projects/piqu%C3%A9-dress-with-stripes
