I finally finished this top for my friend after about 9 months since initial request and promises from me. I made it as duplicate to the same top I made for myself in ivory silk crepe from McCalls 6563 pattern that she really liked. I combined the top part of view D with the bottom of view A to make a cowl neck tank top with a dipped back hem. The pattern is cut on the bias, and I made french seams for the side and shoulder seams. It is made of a very sheer buttercup yellow silk chiffon I got at Mill End store in Portland, Oregon. My friend said she loves yellow, and I hope she has a camisole or something to wear under as it is whisper sheer. I hope she likes it!
