New York, New Yo...
I loved the pants but the print was too overwhelming, so I decided to not get rid of the pants and convert them into a chic short skirt. I’m pear-shaped and the pants fit my waist but were otherwise too big. Because of the flocking, the skirt is not really meant to be worn in the summer or even spring. It’s great for when the fall starts and can be worn with dark tights in the winter. It’ll go with boots or a shoe. It can be worn to work with a jacket or just a knit top. I wanted the skirt to be slightly a-lined, so instead of just ripping the pants apart and attaching in the middle front and middle back, I inserted triangular panels to the front as well as the back.
