More recycling going on, even the elastic lace is from the op shop, lol. I intended to make these two items into a matching swimsuit, so I used non-breathable black stretch knit I got once from the op shop which I had lying around handy, but the lace and bows do give it a boudoir look. With sufficient cross-wise stretch this set is comfy to wear, and they didn’t actually need the zips I installed, but they look cool all the same lol. I sewed it with plain zig zag and I bound the leg edges using bias from the same fabric. I wanted to give contrast panels a try, and as I only had small remnants of peach lace in my vintage 70s stash, I made them feature overlaid just on the center fronts. Between you and me, I may need to finish the inside seams which join up with the lace (and with the vintage knit remnant I used for lining) more neatly, so perhaps I could bind them. black synthetic cross-wise stretch knit fabric, black plastic separating zips, 70s knit fabric for lining inside panel of panties, 70s neon peach floral lace, vintage neon peach stretch lace elastic, black satin ribbon.
