When we saw the satin bustier top from last week’s new set of lingerie patterns, we thought this would make the top of a gorgeous dress. So, we took the pattern for the Satin bustier top, added lining and a gathered skirt and here is the result! A classic evening dress.
Top: Cotton weave with embroidery. Width of fabric, 145cm (57 in), Length, 0.35 cm (1/2 yd) for all sizes.
Skirt: Silk jersey. Width of fabric, 122 cm (48 in) Length, 109 cm (43 in) or length that you want.
Invisible zipper for center back, approx. 42 cm (16 1/2 in) long.

The fabric is magnificent and the pattern you chose shows it so well, without overdoing it!

It looks very beautiful and simple. Did you use boning?

Hi, Thank you.
No, we didn’t use any boning. It is actually a easy dress to sew and the fit of the bustier is really nice.
Best,
Emmy
