Sidonie skirt with business stripes and lacy white that I made before my pleated sidonie skirt, but i was never too crazy about it and forgot to photograph it…
To say the truth i dont like the lace anymore, it looks a bit tacky. any suggestions on how to make over it?

Sweet! The lace was a gorgeous idea!

I love the skirt, I also think you should try a dark lace or a ruffle from black lining fabric.

yeah I like the ruffle idea or maybe a flouce or pleated version. I think my issue with the lace is the stark contrast. Maybe if you had a darker lace it would work? I know there’s an Ann Taylor suit with a flared pencil skirt in dark gray pinstripe and black peeping lace hem. It worked, so I think you have a good idea just need to tweak it a little.

I really like this skirt! it would be great for work! But yes, I do agree with you about the lace. I normally dont mind lace, but it does seem a little out of place here. I love the ruffle idea!

Pleased to see some creations from you again, it’s been a while :) To be honest, I like the skirt as it it, I think it would be plain without the lace. If you have some fabric left maybe you could replace it with a ruffle?
