Description
My friend came to me with some lace that she had found on a trip to the old dunmore scranton abandoned lace factory. We decided to embark on a journey of making a fun dress for her to ware to our schools spring fling dance. The project when relatively quickly although in the end I did suffer a close lose in my family so I was not able to completely finish it up to my standards. This is why I am scrambling to get it done although it was extremely fun and enjoyable to make . I hope you enjoy.

I’m planning something similar to this based on the “Elizabeth” pattern for my wedding dress, and I’m wondering if you could tell me a little about how you cut the skirt… to my eye it looks like a circle skirt, am I right? How did you achieve such beautiful assymetry?

I lovelovelove that this is made out of “found” lace from an abandoned factory. I’m tempted to go find this place and see if I can get any! (Live about 2 hours from Dunmore/Scranton).

love it! especially the position of the lace at the top of the bodice…well skirt is wonderful too but that kinda speaks for itself…think that bodice placement is the icing!
