Hi, I made this dress choosing the Jamie Shift dress option. I spilt the pattern and made some mods my own way.
I changed it and hand stitched it in many parts, I even hand stitched the the technique on the front waist of my dress.
I used no Zipper and contrasted the back fabric with the lovely duchess satin red fabric I had. The waist. Which had an extra 10cm added.
Think I am going to add a zipper at the back.
The bottom bit of the skirt I 2x double the fabric for the front and back to get the gathers. I enjoyed reading some of the book and hope to do more projects. Its kind of opened my eyes to a new world of sewing. I am still learning.
Thanks Burda.! :)

I tried it. It fits ok. I would prefer a zipper myself. Due to lack of time I went for the easy option. I will see if I can get some shots with it on.:-D Thanks.x
