Lovely interpretation. You’ve got it looking more like the 50s version than the model’s more mod look, and it looks great. What is it like to wear? Is it comfy or do the sleeves distract you?

Thank you, I chose a “slippery” fabric for the bottom sleeve so that it would swing and feel soft to the skin, and chose a stiffer fabric for the top sleeve so that it would hold a ruffle shape. Because the sleeves are “dramatic” in shape the feel is “elegant”, however the faux suede bodice gives it a rustic casual feel. I have worn it with brown colored riding pants and boots. I am in the process of making a princess cut pencil skirt made from the same brown faux leather the bottom sleeve is made of. I’ll keep you posted with photos. Thank you again.
