I made this using the blouse pattern from the new Burdastyle Sewing Book. I plan to make everything in it, but I’ve been so busy with other work that the blouse is the only thing I’ve finished so far.
I made it from a printed satin, and some narrow satin ribbon. The only changes I made were to narrow the shoulders slightly, and I left out the side zipper (it goes on easily without it)
The book I would definitely recommend – well done to everyone involved, it’s one of the nicest sewing books out there. Really inspirational for anyone who sews, whether beginner or advanced. I have already told a few friends to buy it!
Plan a weekend getaway in these sweater dresses and furry accessories.
