Description

I loved this design when I first saw it in the magazine a few months ago and had it on my to make list. I decided to make it as a work jacket, as I only had one suit jacket! The construction was fine, but I did need to make quite a few adjustments to the back. I made the 38 and usually I am spot on with the size. However I found the back was about 5cm too wide. I adjusted the princess seamlines to take out the excess and accentuate the waist a little more. The trickiest part was making the bound buttonholes look great from both sides. I didn’t add a sleeve placket/ vent and opted instead for full sleeve. I also used a more traditional lining rather than using a contrast fabric.
