I found this beautiful fabric and knew it had to become this Burdastyle jacket. I have been waiting a long time to find the right fabric to make this and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. The fabric frayed so I couldn’t do the exposed seams and raw edges. Instead I sewed normal seams and made the ribbon a real feature, adding more than originally intended. Otherwise I made a straight size 38 with no changes.
