Pattern Burdastyle 09/2010 No. 122
It was an experiment dress to see how it looks and I sewn it with overlockmaschine.

I try light wool fabric and it is to light and not much elastic, so I have to sewn a zip on the side.
It is not perfect but works. I dont like the pattern sleeves so I try the imitation leather. The leather is very flexible & soft. I like it much.

Next time I take more heavy fartic for this dress.

I like the color and the mix of fabric.

    beautiful dress! i have nearly finished making a long sleeve dress and want to trim the sleeve cuffs and collar with imitation leather also- can i ask if i would be able to wash it well? as most leather and leatherette items are dry clean only any advice would be greatly appreciated thankyou! Rachel

      Hi Rachel! Tank you.

      I take my dress to Dryclenaner, because the fabric is also a fine wool.

      Would you try to wash your fabricrest by hand, so you can see how it look after the contact with water. Sorry, I havend any better Information for you.
