I had an offcut of black boucle fabric from a designer sale. I just managed to squeeze this dress out of the piece. I used black satin for the neckline and red cotton for the lining. I like the shape of the dress, but I think it might be more flattering (less bulky) in a thinner fabric. The neckline is very tight-fitting, so if you enjoy breathing you may need to adjust it!
