Burda Style For people who sew

hi, i wanted to make this dress as soon as i saw it in the dec issue. its quite easy to do and i love how it looks. i choose a patterned fabric? probably not a wise decision with the wrap but then i love going against the norm. i think it turned out rather well considering i added full lining and downsized it.. i found it run big and i’m no skinny minny especially after xmas and new year lol. i have made another in sequins but my sewing machines have a huge problem with sequins so its still waiting on getting finished.
fizz my cat likes to help when i’m cutting out or tracing by wreaking everything. hope you see this chula 123 lol xx

Mary, you had me sooo confused there ! I thought that can’t be Mary, where is her tree?? but then I saw picture no. 3 and sure enough, there it is : the famous pole !! Beautiful dress ! I actually like the bold pattern with this, and the colour is fab ! Thanks for posting the picture of Fizz, sooo cute !! XXX

I.ve made this dress in navy sequins.the same.as the green as well.. I have to fimish it by habd though so its un the unfinished pile at the moment. fizz and me both had viruses over the new year and he’ s on the mend thankfully.,we really.are like darby and jones. Joined at.the hip lol xx
