Description

I made this cape from Simplicity pattern 2285, but I was inspired by the cape on page 33 of the August 2011 BurdaStyle magazine. I love the classic cut of this cape. The green moleskin suede enhanced the military-style features. This is a cape I can wear for years to come!

Lovely cape! I like the colour very much. It looks quite difficult pattern to make. You did a great job!

Thanks so much! It wasn’t too difficult, but it’s definitely not a beginner’s pattern. I took my time with it and feel that I sharpened my sewing skills.
