This was a project for a Christmas present for one of my mother’s friends. I had never attached sleeves to anything before and I wanted to try working with faux fur. The challenge was the fleece stretching. I had to baste the sleeves first and should have done the same for the shoulders. There was some gathering I didn’t like. The fur was challenging because I had to hand sew the final attachment to the collar. Mom gave it to her friend early and she cried. I hate when I make little old ladies cry.
Tan fleece and faux fur.

Thanks so much again. I’m such a beginner and this was my first pattern. I was so pleased that I attached the sleeves. It seemed such a daunting task. But the real challenge was hand sewing the final attachment for the faux fur.
