Burda Style For people who sew
Description
Easy and fun – I love this dress! Currently making it in an abstract knit print with some modifications to sleeves. The fit was spot on in a 36, with a few minor adjustments for a long torso/waist length. I’ve yet to have any photos taken, so for now my iPhone pix will have to suffice.
Material Notes
Grey/black wool tweed with bemberg lining. Invisible zip. .

Great job. I recently made this dress in a knit. I still have to hem it and can’t wait to wear it. Your’s looks awesome. I want to try it in a tweed fabric as well. Do you find it is scratchy?

I lined it with a bemberg lining so, no – not scratchy at all. In fact the fabric itself was fine without lining,- I just preferred the way the dress hung with a lining vs unlined. I can’t wait to see your finished tweed! My knit is nearly finished and totally funky in a graphic abstract print. Such a different look!
