Classically cut, waist-high, full-length pants with straight legs. The distinctive feature of these pants is that they have one dart and one pleat on each side, giving them some ease but not too much. I always move the zip to the left side to avoid adding bulk to my stomach, and because I find it easier than installing a fly.
I have made these pants several times, in black wool, striped woollen suiting, pepper and salt check cotton-linen blend, and sage green cotton drill. It is a favourite pattern and I warmly recommend it.
Wool; cotton; linen.
