I’m so proud of this Jacket! It’s the first one I made without any flaw and it’s so warm and cosey. I wear it ALL the time.
It was made right after my “Advance Sewing Techniques” course was finished, and I think really makes the course worth while.
The pattern is from Burda 3/2011 Bouclé Jacket with Scalloped Lace Trim
My boyfriend took these pictures near our house in Tel Aviv. I really love this city!
I think kind of Boucle??

So elegant! Not that you need it, but with it you look like you shaped by a sculptor’s hand…

It’s beautiful! Definitely shows all the hard work you put into it. I admire it twice as much because I know I don’t have the time to invest into such projects… (not to mention the skill)

Thanks :-) well, it’s so much easier after you actually learn how to do it right in a course. I always tried to teach myself but got frustrated over the small things that just weren’t right, but now I have the confidence and the sewing is much more fun!

How awesome is making your first jacket? And you’ve done a pretty good job too. Is it right to say mazal tov? :)

Thanks so much :-) well, I’ve got to confess it wasn’t my first, but it was the first one I was actually pleased with the way it turned out. Toda :-))
