Description
I made three of these dresses last year, two for me and a long version for my friend. I never got round to posting this one and it’s one of my favourite dresses. It’s such a good pattern and very figure flattering with the gathered sides. The two batwing tops where made from scraps and are great to throw on with a pair of jeans, again another burda fab pattern.
the photo with the blue/ snakeskin print is four generations in one photo. I love this picture, it’s my daughter kelsey with her daughter lily myself and my wonderful mum .
I thought i would post this to check that burda has ironed out all the problems lol x

A very nice dress: it’s surely suits you in style and colour but what amuses me is its great fitting; it really looks like your second skin. You look very hot and fulI of energy. Burda should be happy to have such fans like your family: such pictures make the site a warm personal place:-)

Thank you so much oksana, your words are so lovely. I want to look good!! Not for my age as i dislike that term? Who is to judge what we should wear? I want to look and feel my best when i go out so making my own clothes helps. I know my body shape very well as we have been to- gether a long time lol. I am making my daughter a memory quilt with personal pieces from the four generations. Mum me my daughter and my grandaughter. It’ll take a while but i can’t wait for my daughter to recieve it.x

Thank you kristina, a lot of people are frightened of using jersey because of the stretch but i love it. I have irritable bowel so depending in my mood or what u eat my body can swell up. This makes wearing restrictuve fabrics a no no. I adore jersey because it moves with me and i always feel so comfortable wearing it x
