This project follows the pattern in Burda Style Magazine 07/2011, pattern 120.
The style is pretty simple, and you can go wild with all the trims and laces.
It is not that easy trying to keep the jersey at the same pace with the satin, however it was still an easy, quick project.
As an addition, I used white linen binding for back neck and bottom hem. It looks a lot neater!

I made this from remnants, in a couple of hours (maybe 3 hours in total?), I never thought it would be more popular than all those hard-worked outfits :-)

Irina, I love this top and I have looked and looked at this in the Burda magazine and kept thinking,“not really me” and it probably isn’t but I am so glad to see it made up and you have done a great job. I have the same problem trying to add a project. I put it down to make basic computer skills and wish there was a ‘how to page’ with step by step instructions.

Thank you. Perhaps not my style wither, I am selling it on behalf of a children’s charity on Monday at a local Jubilee street party. I don’t think it is anything to do with our computer skills, there is an error in programming on Burda’s side. There must be a conflict of some sort!

Does anyone know why I cannot add 07/2011 Blouse with front frills as “Based on” project. If I tick that box, I am not able to save/post the project. Same for Alexander Blouse!

I’ve had the same problem before – but when i later went back to ‘edit’ my post it allowed me to select the based on pattern… not sure why it then worked but it did! lovely blouse and best of luck raising funds for your charity:)
