Yet another muslin that ended up being worn. Very easy to make dress, if you skip the welt pockets (which I find quite daunting). I made inseam pockets instead, which work better on a printed fabric. I added elastic around the waist to be able to wear it without a belt. Finished the armholes and neck with bias tape. The fabric is a light cotton that I bought from the weekly gypsy market. One of the stands was selling left over fabric from a factory and I bought 3 m of this one for 4 euros. It seems to be made by Frette, an Italian company which makes luxury linens and home furnishings. So I think I might be walking around town dressed in a fancy table cloth.
