I made this t-shirt for my boyfriend using the basic t-shirt pattern found in the Built by Wendy: Home Stretch book. The patterns in there are for women, but I guess a t-shirt is a t-shirt … except that the sleeves are a little shortish and feminine and I forgot to lengthen them!
I found the fabric at Fabricland just before christmas. My boyfriend loves weird, colourful patterns and doesn’t mind if they’re slightly girlish so these blue bubbles seemed perfect. I cut away a corner at the bottom and sewed in pale pink corner, just because the shirt seemed too bubbly and blue.
(My boyfriend’s dog wishes that cones for sick pups came in funkier colours than plain old white.)
