This coat started out as a McCall’s pattern M5513. I basically finished the project before I realized it was too big and I didn’t like it. So I had to make it MUCH smaller and alter it to my liking. I’m happy with how it turned out and was excited to make my first buttonholes, yay! I had fun sewing it, but it has taken forever.

this is fantastic! I love the shape with the fabric; the angular plaid sets off the bubble shape nicely. the length is perfect too. very cool! :)
