♫ ♪ Bruxism
Thanks to free listening of music on last.fm, now I can (again) easily discover a lot of bands with music that I like.. Last of my “can’t get it out of my head” songs was Bruxism by Trophy Wife..
I can still remember when I saw cover of Burda issue 03/2009 while shopping in supermarket.. The dress on the cover page, navy with white stars was just gorgeous, so I bought that issue.. That was the time when I knew I’ll sew again, one day.. Not a whole year after that, I made a comeback to sewing.. And probably somewhere in 2011, when I thought my sewing skills were good enough for this project, I made this dress.. Pattern is #116 from that issue.. The fabric is rayon, one of many finds from remnant boxes.. If you look closely, you’ll see that pieces of fabric I used for upper part of the dress is a few shades darker than lower part.. Maybe that’s the reason why it ended up as remnants.. But white apples with navy background was a must have.. I cannot tell you any details about sewing the dress, it was a long time ago.. I made a lot of mistakes, but I was very happy with the result..
This dress is one of the best Burda patterns, and my friend also made one for her and her roommate.. It’s so good that I can’t wait to find another cute fabric to make another one for myself..
