Description

I bought this fabric because I loved the print and decided it would make a great skirt. I used the skirt dimensions from the Volumous Skirt pattern by modisten and added a second layer underneath the first, a waistband casing for the elastic, and in-seam pockets in the side seams.

    This looks amazing! I am looking to make this skirt for my first project, how exactly do I make the waist band? Do i make it separate then add it to the skirt? Do i just thread through the elastic or does the elastic need to be pulled taut and sewn? Sorry just very new to this!

    This just screams spring! I love the crisp colors of red and white on the soft flowy fabric. It’s a nice contrast.
