don’t really know what to name this project
is it a shirt? ultra lightweight jacket? wrap dress – unwrapped?
whatever it is, i love it!
and i plan to make bunch of those
i used pattern for some wrap blouse
dunno witch one (but probably burda’s)
because it’s the pattern i traced years back
when i first started sewing
and when i did not know the importance of notes
that you write down on your pattern pieces
so you know what you’re looking at
so, what i was working with
were 3 pieces labeled only ‘wrap blouse’
no marks on size, where they come from,
noting to help me locate the source
(and i don’t remember having anything similar in my closet)
but i decided to give the pattern a try
and sew it in this lightweight cotton
and i’m glad i did
i elongated front and back pattern pieces
so this can be tied at the waist and worn as a dress
but i’m not planing to wear it that way
as i’m pretty happy with how it looks layered
over a simple t-shirt and shorts
shorts is also made by me
but i posted it here before
so won’t repeat myself
